Man standing - white and black charcoal on colored paper
A 45 minute figure study of the male nude standing. This piece was completed on March 15th, 2007 at a local college and concluded a two-hour figure drawing session. Unfortunately for the model, the leg muscles went numb and the pose ended a few minutes earlier than expected yet the likeness and the shading were already set for this piece. The ability to shade the darks and add the highlights with the white charcoal make for faster renditions of the model and a better overall effect for the drawing.
The drawing was completed with 2B and 6B charcoal pencils and white charcoal pencils and measures 7 inches by 13 inches.
This drawing may be purchased from the site. Please see the Sales section to find pricing information and then get in touch with me for purchase details.
