This drawing was a longer pose, most likely in the 30 to 40 minute range. My main focus on this drawing was to establish solid proportions of the female figure and to place solid lines to focus the viewers attention on the exterior of the figure. Towards the end of the pose however, I decided to throw in some light hatching for shading.

After importing the drawing into the computer, I used the darkened tone of the white paper as a means to add highlights using a photo editor, thus creating a digital version of the original. I liked the effect that the highlights bring to the drawing.

The drawing was completed with 2B and 6B charcoal pencils and measures 9 inches by 7 inches.
