Pine Valley Golf Club, 10th hole - oil on canvas
The infamous short par three that opens up the back nine at Pine Valley Golf Club. Coming up short on the tee shot to the green brings in the exceedingly deep bunker in the front, nicknamed "the devil's asshole" certainly by those unfortunate souls who faced playing their second shot backwards to escape the trap.

This commissioned piece was completed over the course of nine months. It was inspired by several images scattered through books and web sites.

The painting is done in oils and measures approximately 36 inches by 26 inches.
