Eastman Theater
The Eastman Theater is located in downtown Rochester, NY. It was a late afternoon and the Jazz Festival was in full swing when I turned down the closed street and caught a glimse of the setting sun hitting the old establishment. The backdrop of the blue sky with the warm orange-yellow color of the building with its wrap-around awning was perfect for a photograph.

After several orientations, I chose a vertical frame (not pictured here) for the final layout. I especially like the strong diagonals of the awning receeding in perspective and the radiant sunlight.
