Digital Photography
It is not always possible or conducive to capture a drawing or a painting in a single sitting with weather and light changing constantly, so often I will have a camera at hand to capture the image for later reference on the drawing board. Using the photo as a composition tool sometimes allows for my photography to supersede the purpose of the drawing, allowing the image to stand on its own. Here are some examples of my craft.
This photograph was taken at a local cemetary when the full moon was dancing behind passing clouds. A long exposure caught the moonlinght on the passing clouds as well as the orange street lights behind me. It made for a unique image after several photomanipulation techniques were applied.
